Project Officer: Professional Development (2 Positions)

Key responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate and organise programs/events for members within the Professional Development sector
  • Draft project proposals for review by the President/Vice President
  • Keep committee and general members informed of current opportunities available for member in the Professional Development sector.
    • Liaise with the IT Officer to post to the ECNA Website
  • Assist new project members with the processes involved in starting/continuing a project
  • Monitor any projects that are underway and ensure that milestones and deadlines are achieved comfortably
  • Help with fundraising and the organisation of the events
  • Train and mentor the following period’s incoming Project Officer

Selection Criteria:

  • Versatility, flexibility, enthusiasm and a high-level of self-motivation and initiative, both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Advanced level of English communication, both oral and written
  • Consistently proactive, taking initiative whenever possible
  • Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills with the ability to plan, coordinate and execute tasks and projects through to completion whilst meeting deadlines, balancing competing demands and having a specific attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with limited direction to initiate procedures, set priorities and manage tasks. Support as required, including coordinating calendars, diaries and travel as needed.
