Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, print and appropriately display posters, leaflets or any other advertising material for ECNA
- Advertise events to universities, and the community at large through social media and physical mediums
- Work closely with Project Officers to coordinate event promotion
- Contact members well in advance to inform them of events and activities
- Work closely with the Editor to promote events through the ECNA newsletter
- Raise the public awareness of ECNA through any appropriate means (e.g. media coverage)
- Train and mentor the following year’s incoming PR Officer
Selection Criteria:
- Consistently proactive and self-motivated, taking initiative whenever possible
- Able to work both independently and as a part of a team
- Ability to work with limited direction to initiate procedures, set priorities and manage tasks
- Advanced level of English communication, both written and oral
- Ability to plan, coordinate and execute projects whilst meeting deadlines and balancing competing demands.
This role is crucial to the success and growth of ECNA. The PR Officer will have a profound influence on our image, both within and outside universities.
