Public Relations and Design Officer

Position Overview:

The Public Relations and Media Design Officers are responsible for a broad range of areas, including sponsorship, marketing, grant applications, external relations and design of official media items and publications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, print and appropriately display posters, leaflets or any other advertising material for ECNA
  • Advertise events to universities, and the community at large through social media and physical mediums
  • Work closely with Project Officers to coordinate event promotion
  • Contact members well in advance to inform them of events and activities
  • Work closely with the Editor to promote events through the ECNA newsletter
  • Raise the public awareness of ECNA through any appropriate means (e.g. media coverage)
  • Train and mentor the following year’s incoming PR Officer

Selection Criteria:

  • Consistently proactive and self-motivated, taking initiative whenever possible
  • Able to work both independently and as a part of a team
  • Ability to work with limited direction to initiate procedures, set priorities and manage tasks
  • Advanced level of English communication, both written and oral
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and execute projects whilst meeting deadlines and balancing competing demands.

This role is crucial to the success and growth of ECNA. The PR Officer will have a profound influence on our image, both within and outside universities.
