Key responsibilities:
- Maintain the finances of the chapter by keeping detailed and up-to-date records of expenses and incoming cash
- Devise fundraising strategies with the assistance from all committee members
- Compile an ECNA Sponsorship Package
- Liaise with Sponsors and seek further financial support through networks
- Work with Projects Officer to assess fundraising needs
- Submit a Financial report to the ECNA Stake-holders at the end of the financial year
- Carry out financial transactions as directed by the President/Vice President in a timely manner
- Keep the committee informed of its financial position ensuring the chapter does not exceed the available funds
- Collect all receipts for verifications
- Train and mentor the following year’s incoming Treasurer and Fundraising Officer
Selection Criteria:
- Versatility, flexibility, enthusiasm and a high-level of self-motivation and initiative, both independently and as a part of a team.
- Advanced level of English communication, both oral and written
- Consistently proactive, taking initiative whenever possible
- Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills with the ability to plan, coordinate and execute tasks and projects through to completion whilst meeting deadlines, balancing competing demands and having a specific attention to detail.
- Ability to work with limited direction to initiate procedures, set priorities and manage tasks. Support as required, including coordinating calendars, diaries and travel as needed.
